Nate Brown called the meeting to order at 5:19 PM.
Motion to approve minutes passes.
The EQC is trying to find a time to meet with Bob Robinson, and is looking into changing the dishware at snack from disposable to reusable. They are working with the Food Committee to inform students about composting and would like to hold some holiday events and workshops about reusable gifts.
Carrie and Drew have been throwing Junior/Senior socials with other 5C schools. He is working on two talk series and on the class banner.
The committee is working on pre-rivalry-game event, which will include food, giveaways, and tanks.
Residence Hall Committee: The committee has successfully advocated for several cosmetic updates to the residence halls such as new laundry and bathroom hooks, to name a few. The RHS will promote a new email address to which students can send all residence hall complaints.
Food Committee: The Food Committee has successfully gotten waffle and Panini makers, and dining halls will start offering vegan pizza, more vegetarian soups, and more. The committee is also organizing the Iron Frank competition.
Dean Feldblum came to discuss the proposed bike policy change. Student Affairs Committee has been looking for a way to deal with the bike issue on campus because they have been being locked up in unsafe places. SAC will be adding more bike racks and subsidized U-locks in exchange for greater enforcement of bike safety policies.
The Student Media Committee would like to add Studio 47 to their bylaws. Will Mullaney will write up language to add to the bylaws.
